Recently I read an article about a new small operating system which can be fit your pendrive. I was really amazed when I read about the small OS. My OS was taking some where around 2GB and using an OS which occupies just few MB’s was fun and interesting also. I feel if you install that kind of software any system will be very fast. if you need a computer jsut for word processing and for browsing then you can use these kind of OS. NimbleX is a small OS with many features. It entirely runs from your CD or pendrive or from Network. NimbleX is based on Slackware.

Most of the times when I watch a movie in Google Youtube I feel like downloading the video and watch it directly from my machine. But I hadn’t found any software to download videos that are in FLV format. There are many sites apart from Youtube which has got many videos in FLV format. Many times we may need to ZIP our files and transfer them from one place to another. I used WinZip and WinRar to compress and un-compress my files. Mostly I use WinRar as I feel it is simpler and better than WinZip. Recently one of my friends suggested me to use JustZIPit which is a new software to ZIP and unZip your files easily. The software is not very complicated as the other applications. It is very easy to use the software. You can easily create a ZIP file and email it. The application can be integrated in to the shell so that you can right click any file and ZIP it easily. This is the simplest ZIP application I had ever seen.
