I love to use the Peer to peer network technology to get movies and files. The p2p network is very fast. I don’t exactly know how it works but the way it works and the speed is very good. Mostly I download many videos and movies from others systems. LimeWire is a file sharing program running on the Gnutella Network. I installed it on my Linux machine. Later I came to know that Limewire is written in Java, and will run on Windows, Macintosh, Linux, Sun, and other computing platforms. LimeWire is vailable in many languages and you can easily search for the required files. You can also search for audio songs, images and many other type of files.

Until now I was using windows OS in my machine.Every time I get problems with my Windows machine. So I thought of switching to Linux. There are many flavors of Linux so I was not so sure to select a particular flavor that suits me. Finally I decide to go with Mandrakelinux. Mandrakelinux that I installed came with a Linux Kernel 2.6.8, KDE 3.2.3 and GNOME 2.6. Most of the installation procedure was automated. You can easily install the OS even if you are a novice user. It has got an extended hardware support and the best Multimedia and games. It has also got Easy Printing with CUPS. The best thing is that it is available in more than 60 languages.

I download many real media files from the internet. I love to use RealPlayer for all my real media related files. I usually play all the real audio files using the real player software. Apart from real audio and real media it can also play many other formats like MP3, AAC, Ogg Vorbis and Theora. You can now watch and listen to embedded video right in your Web browser without opening RealPlayer. The RealPlayer applications comes with a plug-in which will help you to watch videos right in the browser itself. So you can enjoy media from your favorite music and news sites very easily.
